Please come, speak up and help educate the public whether or not you live in Fullerton. Bees live all around us.

Fullerton—Next Tuesday, Beekeeping in the City of Fullerton goes before the City Council for Approval. This has been a long process that started back in May of 2016. It has been a joint effort between Fullerton City Personnel, the public and residents, both local Beekeepers and commercial Beekeepers, and Beekeeping experts from around the country. This thorough study and approval process was not taken lightly. The key is to educate everyone about Bees. There are so many misconceptions about Bees due to most individuals not having the factual knowledge about Bees and what they do for our survival as a species.

The OCBA was formed in the 1970′s. Our membership is currently comprised of mostly small-scale beekeepers who are dedicated to keeping bees in the urban environment. The roots here in OC are agricultural, and we haven’t forgotten that.  Copyright 2018
